I love sharing what I know and when I'm not making fine art, I'm designing classes for beginners, intermediate and expert makers.
Visit my events calendar to see if I have any upcoming classes. I will release a new slate of classes in January of 2026 with both online and local classes (San Antonio area). If you'd like to be the first to know when I have a new class available, subscribe to my newsletter at my retail site: www.texasCharmTradingCompany.com.
My art focuses on the local flora and fauna of the Texas Hill Country – my home and inspiration. Much of my work is representational and sometimes whimsical. It's always made with the love for my subject or the patterns of nature the keep me wanting to create art.
My craft is punch needle rug hooking. This is a very slow method of hand-placing every loop and stitch of material purposefully on a canvas of monk's cloth or primitive linen. The tool I use is called The Oxford Punch Needle – invented by Amy Oxford.
