Taryn Kail is a punch needle rug hooking fiber artist and Oxford Certified Punch Needle Instructor based in Helotes, Texas. Her art focuses on the local flora and fauna of the Texas Hill Country depicted in 100% wool rug yarn on monk’s cloth or primitive linen. You can find her work at Helotes Gallery in Helotes or at vendor events in South Texas. Taryn is active in her local Fiber Arts community and is Vice Chair for the Oxford Punch Needle Instructor’s Guild and the Communication Committee Chair as well. She is also a member of ATHA: The Association of Traditional Hooking Artists.
